About me

Hello, I'm Chella

I'm a qualified English teacher based in the UK, with 25 years' teaching experience. I tutor students one to one, online, and I already teach IGCSE students living overseas.

How I help

Moving students up a grade or two

I have considerable experience of pushing students towards grades 8 and 9, and of giving the one-to-one support that helps students move up one or two grades in their final exams.

I also hold professional qualifications in supporting students with specific learning difficulties, including dyslexia, ADHD and autism.

How lessons work

Live, online and built around your week

  • Live one-to-one lessons online, one hour long.
  • Times arranged around the school day in your time zone.
  • Exam technique, essay feedback, past-paper practice and revision.
  • Payment by bank transfer.

Fees

Simple, one price

Every lesson is one hour of live, one-to-one teaching, planned around your child's exam board, set texts and target grade.

The person paying is responsible for any bank or transfer charges, so that the full lesson fee reaches me.

£40per one-hour lesson

Approx. AED 200 · USD 54 · SGD 69 · HKD 420, depending on exchange rates. Lessons are charged in pounds sterling.
